How Our Antimicrobial Print Sealant Works
From our HQ in Buckinghamshire, UK, we utilise our range of lithographic and digital presses to print a vast suite of products, both on a small and industrial scale.
SEAL
Every item can then have the BODEE Antimicrobial Print Sealant placed on top.
This is colourless, textureless, odourless and neutralises the bacteria that lands on it.
PROTECT
The BODEE Antimicrobial Sealant is long lasting, offering protection throughout the life of the printed product, significantly reducing the spread of disease.
Not All Sealants Are Equal
Other antibacterial sealants and coatings use silver nanoparticle technology, which works for a while, but migrates or is wiped out of the ink, leaving the surface unprotected.
By contrast, the BODEE Antimicrobial Sealant is integrated into the structure of the ink, meaning the antibacterial properties are there as long as the ink is.
It also means that you can use the printed item many times, even clean it, without compromising it’s ability to neutralise bacteria - keeping people safer for longer.
